Essential Question: NOAA



Who are they? What do they do?:  NOAA is the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, which a Federal agency focused on the condition of the oceans and the atmosphere.


The intensity of a sonar echo tells scientist what?: It tells the scientist the direction of where the sounds are coming from big or small such as whales or dolphins, seal and what ever else big enough to track.


How does R.O.V assist scientist? : Remotely operated Vehicles help scientist by recording videos of what's way down deep in the ocean wheres there is no oxygen strong enough for humans to survive because its to much pressure on them to a point to were they cant not bare.


Why are these studies important to society? Because they let us know what lurks beneath the ocean big or small
